juice1687/14/2011No guitarist has had the influence on his peers and followers that Hendrix did. Combine that with the fact that he played at a level no one had seen before and arguably has seen since and you have a case for calling Hendrix the greatest guitarist of all time.

jonathanwebster1/9/2012I have never heard a more creative guitarist and songwriter than Jimi, he, evidently through his songs, poured his heart and soul into his creations!
For example, May this be love, one of my all time hendrix favourites, he virtually paints a picture with his guitar, and whats more is that he couldn't even read music! For me, jimi is and always will be number 1!

hiphopaddict2/5/2012Who cares who sounds better, isn't it about the talent?!?! This man played a right handed guitar left handed and was so creative always changing his sound while just being himself. If you know this man's life story going through poverty he's a miracle.

These is no arguing that Hendrix was a guitar prodigy. He did things with a guitar that people hadn't even conceived of yet. But, Page was also a virtuoso guitarist and he has a much stronger music library. Page has contributed to some of the most iconic songs of all time which puts him above Hendrix for me.
